Speed, Agility and Quickness training is based on professional research. Physiological studies have shown the superiority of multi-directional movement training over classic linear sprinting. The results: improved agility, improved cognition (memory & problem solving), and increased vigilance (alertness).
Boot camps are group activities incorporating exercises which safely build strength, endurance and agility. If possible, most exercises are conducted outdoors and include time for stretching and warm-ups. Bring your friends, invite your family, or come and meet new people. These classes are a challenge–are you up for it?
Our indoor cycling classes are a combination of fun, music, sweat, and burned calories. Our enthusiastic instructors will show you how to set up the bike to match your ability level and physical size, then lead you in a program that’s upbeat, energetic and unique.
Want an intense cardiovascular workout which also teaches self-defense? Had a frustrating day and want to release some steam with kicks and punches? Our kickboxing classes are taught by professional trainers who also have black belts in TaeKwonDo. The instructor will lead you in a program designed to match your ability level.

“4 years ago I realized that I needed to do something about my health. I was significantly overweight and had gotten so out of shape that a single flight of stairs left me winded. I started going to the gym and spending some time on the various cardio machines but knew that it would take more, much more, than that to even begin to see any improvement. I took a leap and signed up for some sessions with a personal trainer. That’s when Bassamba Sao entered my life! On the first day he took all my measurements and sat and talked with me to gain an understanding of my goals. Then the work began. I’ll admit that throughout the first month I had to give myself a “pep talk” in order to walk into that gym every training session but, as time went on, it became easier. Bassamba worked with me to increase my strength, improve my endurance and remove the weight. Throughout each hour of training he explored dietary habits and lifestyle choices which were keeping me from my true goals. His constant encouragement and enthusiasm were key factors in my success. I began working out with Bassamba Sao in August 2016. It has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made! He has created a motivating environment within Greatness Fitness. I feel as though the staff and clients are genuinely interested in helping me reach my goals! I feel like I can achieve my personal best here. Since August 2016, I have lost 21.4 lbs! At one point, I felt as though I plateaued and I wasn’t losing any additional weight. Bassamba changed my focus and opted to take my measurements. I was astounded at the non-scale victory! During the time that I thought that I had “plateaued” here is what was happening outside of the scale: I’d lost 1.5 inches off of my arms, 3.5 inches off of my shoulders, 2 inches off of my hips, 2.5 inches off of my chest, and had lost 6 inches in my waist! That’s over 15 inches lost overall! My BMI had decreased 3.7% and my body fat was also down by 2%! “Before meeting Bassamba, I thought of myself as anything but an athlete. I had been plagued by an ankle injury for over ten years and had recently broken both wrists. The day I met Bassamba, I told him that I could no longer run, do lateral exercises, or anything that put pressure on my wrists. Bassamba saw past these self-imposed limitations and taught me to push myself. He taught me that the things I thought I couldn’t do, both in the gym and out, were my own mental blocks, not actual physical barriers. Within weeks, I was not only running, but was completing miles on the treadmill, running stairs while wearing a weighted vest, and never looking back. Bassamba also combined every leg exercise with a component that would involve my weak arms and wrists. He did for me what orthopedists and physical therapists could not. Beyond that, he had become a part of my family. He truly believes in the people he trains and sees them as they can be, not as the people they think they currently are. Because of Bassamba, I no longer think in terms of “I can’t.” He taught me to always focus on the goals ahead and to push through to achieve them.
